Winchester Farm is located along the beautiful West River.
Swimming, tubing or just relaxing along our private beach
at the river is always an enjoyable escape.
Gates to stables, fields and river close at 8pm.
It's not unusual to see turkeys and geese in the fields.
We also have other wildlife including deer, moose, coyotes, and
the occasional black bear.
The town of Newfane is the county seat of Windham County,
Southern Vermont. A wonderful historic town with various eateries, antique store, wine shop, hardware store, and market. Easy access to Brattleboro for more shopping, and Keene for major shopping.
There are many horses on the Winchester property.
While crossing the stable area to the fields and the river, we ask that you respectfully cross with no running, screaming, or sudden movements and that you calmly walk through.
